Cal14.1b (P04159) Protein Card

General Information
Name Cal14.1b
Organism Conus californicus
Organism region Eastern Pacific
Organism diet piscivorous
Protein Type Wild type
Protein precursor Cal14.1b precursor (4016)
Notes

Zazueta-Favela et al., 2019 reported that Cal14.1b increased intracellular IL-10 production in Treg (CD3+CD4+Foxp3+) cells and decreased intracellular IL-17 production after 72h of culture. Cal14.1b did not show any effect on T cell proliferation nor on Th1/Th2 balance.

Oroz-Parra et al., 2019 reported that Cal14.1b (27 μM) reduct H1299 lung cancer cells viability after 24 hours treatment. But Cal14.1b does not increase the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio.
